McKinley serves as the Assistant to the Youth Minister, helping with EYC and Formation activities. Born in Longview, he spent most of his youth throughout East Texas before attending college at Abilene Christian University. During college, McKinley served as the Summer Intern with the Alpine Church of Christ youth group and volunteered with his wife, Sarah, at Highland Church of Christ’s Student Ministry in Abilene. They found their way to the Episcopal Church when they moved to Tyler in the summer of 2021, were confirmed in October 2023, and are grateful for the community found here at Christ Church.
