Robert grew up in Seattle before moving down to East Texas in 1998 to join Youth With A Mission.

In YWAM, Robert worked in the areas of teaching, training, and mentoring missionaries, in the worship department.  In YWAM, Robert traveled to and ministered in several countries including Haiti, India, Bangladesh, Greece, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, a country in central Asia, and many cities in the United States.

Robert joined the staff at Christ Church in January of 2012. He loves helping others understand the goodness of God in real life and that Jesus is who He says He is and can be trusted and loved.

Robert and his wife Cally have 2 sons; Sampson and Oliver.  Cally is the owner of Callynth Photography in Tyler.

Robert is also a musician and songwriter in a local band.
